Our People
Jennifer Wilkinson Owner/Director Epicurious travel
Jennifer has a life-long passion for food, wine and travel.
After a successful career in economics and industrial relations she left her profession to pursue her personal passion. After travelling and working in Europe for a year she returned to Australia and bought an historic property in Beechworth in North East Victoria and turned it into the highly acclaimed gourmet retreat, Finches of Beechworth, Country Guesthouse.
After 12 rewarding years at Finches she sold the business and moved back to Melbourne to establish EPIcURIOUS travel, which combines Jennifer’s love for active travel with her expertise in providing great food and wine.
Jennifer spends much of her leisure time exploring the food and wine regions of Australia and Europe as well as the Australian bush, where she has enjoyed bushwalking for much of her adult life. One of her favourite pastimes is escaping to a quiet corner of one of our National Parks for a weekend of camping, walking, eating, drinking and sleeping under the stars.
Her other interests include Pilates, cycling, music, reading and of course cooking at home. Jennifer is actively involved in the guiding and cooking on her Australian trips, as well as in Italy, India and Spain.
Rosa Marie Falvo Tour leader and guide Italy and Australia.
Rosa lives and works in Umbria and Melbourne. She is an independent writer and curator with projects in Europe, Asia and Australia. She also teaches privately and translates Italian literature into English. Previously she was a secondary school teacher and staff professional development manager.
Rosa is at home in two continents. Her passion for art, language and culture stems from her Italian heritage, post graduate studies, and extensive travel experience throughout Asia and Europe. Her other interests include photography, yoga, and dancing. Rosa has guided our ‘Heart of Tuscany’ (Italy), ‘Camino de Santiago’ (Spain), ‘Great Ocean Road’ (Australia) trips, and with her intimate knowledge of Italy we are very pleased that she leads our new ‘Mystical Umbria’ tour.

Richard’s mother was Spanish from the Canary Islands and his father American and although he was born in Los Angeles his time living there was only a matter of months. He was brought up in Spain and now lives just outside Madrid. Richard has also lived in England, Finland and Sweden. Before entering the world of hiking and tourism he worked as a language teacher and translator. Richard enjoys writing and reading in his spare time and going to the cinema and theatre.
