OUR FOOD AND WINE

When you travel with Epicurious on either our camping or accommodated holidays you are guaranteed to experience fabulous food and wine. It is our passion and we see no need to compromise on this essential element of travel even in the remotest of locations.
On our camping expeditions we use the highest quality ingredients including organic and free range produce from local producers wherever possible. Jennifer prepares all her stocks, sauces, biscuits and delicious cakes by hand and they are carefully transported under refrigeration. Our food is cooked predominantly on an open fire, which not only creates a wonderful atmosphere in our “outdoor kitchen”, but also results in sensational flavours, and good fun.
We offer clients a selection of wines each evening with dinner utilising where possible regional varieties. Some of the producers we use include: Wood Park Wines, Sorrenberg, Mitchelton, Crawford River, Pizzini, Chrismont and the range of Fuse Wines.

Our daily fare on our walking and camping expeditions

Breakfast

• Fresh fruit salad with a selection of all natural yoghurts
• A selection of Whisk and Pin mueslis and other cereals
• Toast and spreads
• Eggs cooked in a variety of ways
• Good fresh coffee, black and herbal teas

Lunches vary from day to day but include
• Home made dips
• Local cheeses
• Marinated olives, capsicums and charred grilled asparagus
• Salamis and cooked meats
• Falafel
• Breads
• Salad
• Fresh fruit
