Chile is a land of striking contrasts and extraordinary natural beauty from the wilds of Patagonia to the breathtaking lakes district and the lunar landscape of the Atacama desert. It is one of the most prosperous countries in South America, with an acclaimed wine industry, an array of luxury travel experiences and outstanding opportunities for soft adventure from horse riding to walking, fishing and cruising on the lakes, or astronomy and birdwatching. Chile has all this packed into a narrow strip of land between Patagonia in the south, Peru to the north and Argentina to the east and offers some of the most spectacular scenery in the world alongside a rich culinary and cultural history.
This fascinating journey takes us from the cosmopolitan city of Santiago to the remote but spectacular Atacama desert where flamingos tread gracefully on salt flats, flowering cactus line water filled gorges and the ever present backdrop of the snow capped Andes make this driest place on earth truly extraordinary. We travel on to the stunning lakes district where we visit the Chiloe archipelago, made up of 30 islands revealing amazing natural beauty, rich mythology and unique cultural traditions. Chilean Patagonia, one of the most incredible places on earth, is one of pristine beauty, bracing fresh air, spectacular walking and quintessential ecotourism, making it the perfect destination for those who have a love for wilderness and nature. With great food and wine, fantastic guided walks and exquisite accommodation, the Patagonian experience is nature tourism heaven.
Unique accommodation in each location, innovative and traditional cuisine and the opportunity for daily excursions with experienced guides, this small group luxury tour in Chile will deliver an intimate interlude with nature, culture and history.
We are also delighted to advise that, with the exception of 1 dinner and 2 lunches, this tour is fully inclusive. The fabulous Chilean lodges offer exceptional meals, an open bar with selected wines and spirits and a wide range of guided activities included in the tariff.

A trip of such diversity and adventure….from the snowy wilderness and splendid scenery of Patagonia, to the strange beauty of the Galapagos and its inhabitants, to the extraordinary diversity of the Ecuadorean highlands with its volcanoes, colourful markets and rainforests. Of course the food highlights in Lima were amazing and a fitting end to the trip.
