In February/March 2025 we have two wonderful journeys that still have limited availability. The first is in the magnificent Himalayan Kingdom of Bhutan in late February and the second across Northern India through the Himalayan range to Shimla and Darjeeling exploring the fabulous cities of Amritsar, Chandigarh and Kolkata along the way. The departure date is early March.

Fabulous wildlife and striking mountain ranges in

Fabulous wildlife and striking mountain ranges in Sierra Baguales which lies along the border between Chile and Argentina in Southern Patagonia. It is a beautiful, unspoilt remote landscape where very few tourists visit. Tierra Patagonia offer a brilliant half day excursion to this region. We spotted Rhea, the Patagonian hog-nosed skunk and the very cute Patagonian fox along with a fabulous array of birds from raptors to geese.

The Chiloé Archipelago offers an amazing break between the dry and spectacular Atacama Desert and the breathtaking landscapes of southern Patagonia. Our visit to the five hectare organic garden and farm of Williche woman, Sandra Naiman was a highlight. Sandra has cultivated an amazing farm as well as artisanal produce which was part of our morning tea.

The High Altitude Lagoons of Miscanti and Meñiques are at 4200 metres in the Andes mountains 2 hours drive from San Pedro de Atacama. The wildlife is extraordinary with Vicuña, foxes, flamingo, nandu and a variety a beautiful birds like the horned coot and Andean gulls.
