Guest stories from our luxury small group tours of Japan
“We were taken to a great variety of dining experiences covering a wide range of styles, far greater than we would have been exposed to if travelling independently. We enjoyed the trip immensely. Both Jennifer and Michael were excellent hosts/guides. From our point of view everything was perfectly planned and organised. The balance between culinary experiences and tourist activities was perfect. Our Epicurious experience far exceeded our expectations and Jennifer is a terrific host. The standard of accommodation was outstanding.
Additionally, the friendships made with our fellow travellers were a great plus. Overall, a very enjoyable trip!”

“This was our second culinary tour of Japan with Michael Ryan because we enjoyed the first one so much. Once again, we experienced magnificently crafted, delicious and visually stunning food in a variety of top-rated Japanese restaurants where we were feted by our hosts as part of Michael’s entourage. We enjoyed a very high level of comfort and amenity in superb hotels and experienced the beauty of many aspects of traditional Japanese culture. This was an experience to be cherished forever.”
